To coincide with the once in a lifetime experience of a total solar eclipse, we decided that we were going to hold a two day JeepCLIPSE! The event included a ride and cookout on Sunday, and then some camped out at the site. On Monday, we cooked an outdoor breakfast, held a fire extinguisher training, had lunch and then had our eclipse viewing party. We hosted silent auctions and accepted donations to the Marion County Humane Society, Addie's Helping Hand, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We had several donations of supplies for the Humane Society and over $2,000 to donate monetarily.
If you didn't join in the fun this year, please plan to join us in 2025! The weather was definitely cold, but we met some awesome new Jeep friends and connected with old ones! Thanks to George, Carl, and Kate for pulling this event together for us, we appreciate you and everyone who came out and braved the elements with us!
Mark and Melissa did not disappoint us in creating the perfect New Years Day Ride! While some of us stayed with a primarily back road and unmaintained road ride, another group ventured off to Bat's Nest and Stone Quarry. Definitely be on the lookout for a 2025 New Year's Day Ride! We appreciate Mark, Melissa, and everyone who came out and joined us for Jeepin' in the New Year!
Much appreciation to Daniel and Jen for organizing our first Christmas Charity and Light Ride. This was both a huge undertaking and success. Donations included all of the items shown in the photos as well as a $300 cash contributions, that benefited the Marion County Christmas Clearing House. Thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting this cause!
In 2023 COJ participated in both the Marion and Morrow County Christmas Parades. A special thank you to Ashley for taking the lead on the Marion County parade and to all of those who participated with it! We are looking forward to seeing all of the Christmas themed Jeeps is 2024!
2023 was our first year participating in the Delaware County Veterans Day Parade and hosting a food drive for the MASH Food Pantry that provides items to veterans. We cannot wait to be a part of the 2024 event and are hoping for an even larger presence of COJ family members (we had 27 this year.) A special thank you and much gratitude to those who came out for the afternoon to support our local veterans.
What a great time at our 1st Annual Trunk or Treat! Thank you to all of you who came out and spent some time with us! Thank you to Marion Mulch & More LLC for the use of their facility to host the event; we appreciate your generosity and time! A special thank you to Jasmine and Matt for all of their time and prep work in organizing this event! You did an amazing job, and we appreciate you both!
The 2023 Shelby/Mansfield KOA Jeep Weekend was FANTASTIC! The KOA was amazing, the staff was 5-star and they had so many activities (so many that we weren't able to participate in everything!)
This will, without a doubt, remain on our event schedule for next year! Be on the lookout for a 2024 Event to be published soon!
